DESCRIPTION:http://nzfsmotorsport.org.nz/event-18049\n\nWe would like to invite you to attend next year’s event – to help us raise funds for camp quality.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>\n <o:p> </o:p>\n Kids in Cars\, a big day out for Camp Quality children<o:p></o:p>\n Each year in January the children from Camp Quality venture out to Pukekohe Park Raceway to enjoy a full day out riding in racing cars and big rigs.\n\nKids in Cars 2009 will be held at Pukekohe Park Raceway. The objective this year is to raise enough to fund 80 children to “Camp Quality”. Camp Quality (New Zealand) Incorporated is a Charitable Trust established in 1985.\nEach year more than 300 children aged from 5 to 16 years attend one of the CQ camps.\nA totally voluntary organisation with no individual receiving remuneration. Thousands of hours each year go into raising funds and organising programmes.\nAny child may attend a camp if they have been afflicted with cancer. We have campers in all stages of their illness. Each camp has a minimum of two Paediatric Oncology trained staff in attendance. In some circumstances siblings are also able to attend our programmes.\nEach year Camp Quality run week long residential programmes in five locations throughout New Zealand. More than 300 children attend one of these camps on an annual basis. In addition other activities are run during the course of the year including family days\, reunion days\, mini-camps & social outings.\n\nThis year the event was held with the support of the National Road Carriers Assn\, Radio Hauraki\, Gough Power Systems\, Southpac Trucks & TWL.\n\nIn 2008 the event had a fantastic turnout with over 100 cars & a staggering 231 trucks. 'Racing' Ray Williams and Andy Booth were there doing hot laps for people who bid for the rides. Truck drivers also took many of the children for laps.\n\nNext year it will be even bigger with over 300 trucks expected \n To Register      Kids in Cars  \n
