The formation of the New Zealand Fire Service Motorsport Club Incorporated is run by a committee, dedicated to providing you a high quality service. All our members are from either volunteer or career Fire and Emergency brigades. If you are also an operational member of FENZ and have an interest in motorsport, we invite you to sign up using the MEMBERS AREA link in menu located at the top right of this page. The New Zealand Fire Service Motorsport Club operates as a Not for Profit organisation. All members are trained to carry out the roles they fill.
Our Aims and objectives are as follows:
■ To foster, improve, promote and assist in any way the interests in amateur motorsport.
■ To promote amateur motorsport competitions of all kinds in accordance with the national competition rules of Motorsport New Zealand Inc.
■ To provide an environment that encourages members' participation in all types of motorsport and charitable events, whether competitive or not.
■ To promote the New Zealand Fire Service "Safety and Awareness Program" while attending events.
■ To assist Motorsport New Zealand and provide support at international motorsport events by offering professionally trained Fire Response and Fire Rescue staff. This includes assisting in the training of personnel for motorsport events.
■ Assist with the training of motorsport volunteers for club events.
■ Provide fire and emergency-trained volunteers to assist with fire and rescue at high-profile events. All events are attended on a donation basis.
All NZFS MotorSport Team members are trained fire fighters, either from career or volunteer FENZ brigades, we operate under the standard operating procedures of FENZ.
